Where In The World!!

Well time has passed and We had lost our focus and direction for Love My World.  After enduring an unexpected move and finally settling in we have begun ANEW!! Lol.  Well trying to that is.  Here it is nearly Halloween and fall has set in on us all.  And now we are setting in for a winter living in the mountains of Colorado.  Cold nights and shorter days than expected but here we will begin again.  Now we have begun making different things with reclaimed products.  And keeping my fingers crossed we will be showing them off.  I want to say thanks to all that have been so supportive throughout the past year, you know who you are. ;)  Love you guys!!  To all a Happy Spookin' to you!!!

Technology!!!

Wow this has been a real learning adventure for me with this technology end of the starting up of a business! I have always worked with my hands and known enough of computers and the internet to be able to email. But wow trying to take a document I want to share with everybody and put it on here has made my hair turn grey!! LOL Seriously. So I have a link here for you to check out a little of what I have to offer in finish product!! We have made a few sales locally. Does friends and family count? :) I sure hope so!!! lol And they have been a success so far. The lucky dogs that now have themselves a Green Bed of their own to rest on at night and they are loving them!!! I have asked that I get some pictures to post on here of these lucky guys, lets hope once I receive them that I can figure out how to post them lol. Thank you to all that have helped me get this going. To my little girls Jadin and Cassidy for the encouragements and whip cracking to keep me working. To my mother in law Sharon for use of sewing machines, and purchase of the first of my product. This has been fun and hair pulling with all that I am having to learn to do this right. Soon, real soon I'll have items for sale on my Etsy Shop so there will be a link there from here too, so no worries. Well gotta keep at it and hope all enjoy.

We Did it!!

Well after a long day and lots of scrapped ideas, redo's and hair pulling the first set of beds have been brought from idea too reality!!!  I have made a full set of beds that are going to be up in my Etsy shop for sale come tomorrow!!  We will have a various set of sizes. To list them we have dog beds to start with starting with a Small (20 in. x 24 in.), Medium (24 in. x 30 in.), Large (36 in. x 42 in.), and X-Large (36 in. x 48 in.).  They were all made from reclaimed materials, (besides thread).  I am very exhausted and yet full of vigor due to the fact that we where able to keep a couch from the landfill, plus scrap sheets and fabric that normally would just get thrown away.  They turned out better than I had expected and my daughter finds them to be more comfortable than her own bed!  LOL!!  Tomorrow will be another day of tearing down couches and hunting down materials that would just go to the landfill normally. And the best part of day was that I had orders placed locally already!! I will have pictures up soon as possible tomorrow and a link to purchase them.  Oh and a tidbit of personal here, my daughter told me that today in school her teacher asked the class if anyone's parents did donating or volunteer work at all and she was very proud to speak up and say that her family was going to be making "Luv My World Beds" to donate.  And it is true, we will be taking Pet Beds that we make and donating to local Dog Rescues soon enough here.  Haven't made enough yet to do so just now, but will so real soon.  Can't let her down nor the innocent animals that have to sleep on the hard concrete in shelters or packed dirt from pacing in kennels.  I am already in contact with several organizations that I will be working with.  Well always more to say but I'll save it for another day.  Hope you join my crusade and follow along to help animals rest comfortably and reclaim material from our landfills.
